Construction Benefits
The UL-U370 firewall is constructed on the jobsite, inside the building and must be protected from the elements. This weather-tight installation greatly reduces the opportunities for weather-related damage, such as moisture.

Sound Performance
An important consideration in multi-family construction is the sound isolation characteristics of separating firewalls. Our firewall assembly has a Sound Transmission Class (STC) of up to 63, providing one of the quietest performing firewalls in the industry.

Cost Savings
By the nature of its construction, using less material and requiring less time to build, the UL-U370 firewall, if installed in accordance with GreenFiber’s standards and specifications, meets or exceeds firewall code requirements providing significant cost savings to builders.

Proprietary Design
The UL-U370 firewall is a proprietary design of US GreenFiber. This wall must be built according to GreenFiber’s master architectural drawings that address intersecting floor joists. These drawings are available by contacting GreenFiber. The firewall cavities must be filled with GreenFiber’s proprietary Fire Rated Material, FRM, by a trained FRM Specialist.

Fire Protection Performance
The UL-U370 firewall has been rigorously tested in the Underwriters Laboratories Fire Protection facility and meets all UL performance requirements.
